Dr. Barry Ring is Chicago's premier pain management specialist and has been a medical doctor for over 18 years.
Dr. Ring graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with Honors and Distinction in 1988. In 1992, Dr. Ring received his medical degree (MD) From the University of Illinois. He completed one year of General Surgery at University of Illinois in 1993 and by 1996, Dr. Ring completed his Anesthesiology Residency from Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center, in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Ring had unique pain management learning experiences while working with Dr. Timothy Lubenow at Rush Presbyerian, and subsequently with Dr. Winston Parris in Tampa, Florida through 1998.
In 1998, Dr. Ring pioneered and directed the Interventional Pain Management Clinic at the US VA Medical Center in Maywood Illinois. In 1999, Dr. Ring acted as Clinical Instructor of Pain Management, in the Department of Anesthesiology at Mt. Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Ring trained medical doctor residents from the University of Chicago, University of Illinois, and Mt. Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Ring also trained medical students from the Rosalind Franklin Chicago Medical School. Dr. Ring trained these doctors and medical students while developing, pioneering, and directing the Interventional Pain Clinic and Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
In 2000, Advanced Pain Care evolved, and finally in 2003, Dr. Ring expanded his practice into the multidisciplinary foundation for his esteemed and famous pain management practice, Advanced Pain Care MD, SC.
Dr. Ring is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist with advanced training in pain management. Throughout his comprehensive training he has performed thousands of injections and invasive procedures. He is also an expert with many medications, including narcotic and narcotic-like medications, for the alleviation of pain.
Dr. Ring has been honored as a revered lecturer for many pharmaceutical companies. He has professionally lectured for Cephalon, Pfizer, Victory Pharma, Xanodyne Pharmaceuticals, Johnson and Johnson, Boston Scientific, Boehringer-Ingelheim, and Forest Laboratories.

Dr. Olusola Olowe completed medical school at the University Of Illinois College Of Medicine in Chicago. He received further training at the University of Michigan in the department of physical medicine and rehabilitation, specializing in improving quality of life through the diagnosis and management of painful conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, expertise in electro-diagnostic evaluation (NCS & EMG) of mononeuropathies (such as median mononeuropathy with carpal tunnel syndrome), peripheral polyneuropathies (commonly caused by diabetes), cervical and lumbar radiculopathies (sciatica, frequently due to pinched nerves with herniated discs). He has performed numerous injections and other treatments for the management of neuro and musculoskeletal pain disorders, such as, carpal tunnel syndrome, occipital neuralgia, rotator cuff tendinopathy, gleno-humeral and knee osteoarthritis, elbow pain with epicondylitis, myofacial pain, and many other disorders
Dr. William Cawley is a Board Certified Chiropractor specializing in treating a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. He graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick , New Jersey with a bachelor of science in exercise physiology. His strong interests and passion for health and wellness have led him to earn his doctorate in chiropractic care from New York Chiropractic College. As a member of the Sports Science and Human Performance Club, and with prior work as a personal trainer, he developed his skills combining chiropractic and functional rehabilitation. Continuing education studies are priority for Dr. Cawley. He currently holds post graduate education certifications in acupuncture and manipulation under anesthesia. Dr. Cawley uses a variety of techniques when treating his patients. Some of these include: diversifed gadjusting, extremity manipulation, Cox-Flexion distraction, Thompson Drop Table, activator methods, sacro occiptal technique, active release and kinesotaping.

Dr. David Cunningham graduated from National College of Chiropractic with his doctorate in chiropractic medicine in 2000 and was a stop smoking facilitator with the American Cancer Society. Also in 2000 he received certification in acupuncture and meridian therapy from National-Lincoln College. He has been practicing chiropractic care in Chicago for 10 years.
Always striving for the best care for each individual, Dr. Cunningham uses his knowledge to explain every aspect of the case and establish patient understanding. while allowing for a positive atmosphere for healing and improvement.
